Lillian Potter

Canton - Lillian Stamey Potter, age 77, died Saturday, December 21, 2002 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Arch and Lucy Henson Stamey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade William Potter who died in 1986 and a son, Gary Potter who died in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Dean Potter of Philpot, KY and Roger Potter of Clyde; a brother, Lewis W. Stamey of Canton as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23rd at Center Pigeon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend R. H. Lance officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the services at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
