Candler – Lillie Mae Fuller, 88, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at her granddaughter’s residence.
Lillie Mae was a native of Macon County and a daughter of the late George Thomas and Texie Palestine Justice Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, O.V. Fuller; a daughter, Belinda Louise Hall and brother, George Thomas Ramsey, Jr. She was a member of Stoney Fork Baptist Church in Candler where she taught Sunday school, Bible school, and traveled to sing in a quartet. Lille Mae enjoyed fishing, gardening, beautiful flowers, and watching the birds. Her favorite time of year was springtime when everything was new and beautiful.
She is survived by a son, Ernest Harold Fuller (Cynthia) of Candler; two daughters, Juanita Mae Offenburger (Jerry) of Asheville and Carol Annette Fuller of Candler; son-in-law, Donald Hall of Candler; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Brother David Hall and Brother Ben Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
