Lillie Rogers

Waynesville-Lillie Mae Parker Rogers, age 91, formerly of Grandview Circle, died Monday, August 25, 2003.

A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Ola Alexander Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Rogers, who died in 1995. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and crocheting. She was a member of Camp Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Stella Shuler, of Waynesville; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Rogers, of Waynesville; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2003 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Chan Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Jack, Jackie, and Charlie Rogers, and Frank Lattimore.
