Linda Foster

Waynesville-Linda Faye Tanner Foster, age 44, of 35 Amos Mountain Drive, passed away on November 16, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Samson County, NC, she was the daughter of George Ella Faircloth. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lucas and a brother, Junior Tanner. She loved talking to her daughters on the phone everyday, riding horses, and spending time with her five dogs. She enjoyed collecting nick knacks and helping those around her. She was loved and will especially be missed by her family as well as her friends at Teague's Superette. She is survived by her significant other, Danny Ray; two daughters, Stacy Marable and her husband, Neil, of Montgomery, Alabama and Donnett Stevenson and her husband, Patrick, of Hawaii; two sisters, Gail Hall and her husband, Kenneth, of Roseboro, NC and Rose Hales of Salemburg, NC; and Steven Foster, her ex-husband and best friend, of Hope Mills, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
