Linda Lamont

Waynesville, Linda Parlette Lamont, age 57, of 228 Paradise Lane, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010 at her residence. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of Robert Parlette and the late Marion Gohlke Parlette. She was former owner of the Daily Bread Café at Lake Junaluska and attended Waynesville Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of six years, Roy A. Lamont; one son, Major Ryan Finley, of the US Army stationed in Hawaii and his wife, Laurie; a stepdaughter, Narla Ward, of Sylva; one stepson, Rome Lamont, of Waynesville; two sisters, Carol Ward and Diana Lubinski, both of Livonia, Michigan; and four grandsons, Nathan, Ian, Brandon, and Logan Finley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Linda's family at the residence address.
