Linda Leopard

Waynesville, Linda Ruth Davis Leopard, age 65, of Leopard Drive, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 19, 2013 at MedWest Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Carolyn Abbett Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Leopard, who died June 3, 2013. Linda owned Leopard Accounting and attended Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church. She enjoyed raising cattle with her late husband, Tommy. She is survived by a son, Thomas "Rusty" Leopard, Jr. of Vero Beach, Florida; a brother, Dale Davis and his wife, Jackie, of New Bern; two grandsons, Lemuel M. "Coy" Leopard, of Canton and Jacob Coe Leopard, of Candler. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jay T. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Ratcliffe Cove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Rogers, Joe Arrington, Coy Leopard, Michael Messer, David Farmer, and McLain Rogers. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
