Lloyd Jordan

Waynesville-Lloyd Cline Jordan, age 99, of 32 Polly Place, passed away on October 12, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Charles N. and Clarkie Pruitt Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mull Jordan who died in 1978; two brothers, Henry and Clyde Jordan; and two sisters, Inez Bishop and Azalee Saunders. He was a band saw operator at Drexell Furniture Company and retired in 1975. He loved fishing, woodworking, and the outdoors. He is survived by two sons, Ervin Jordan and his wife, Wanda, of Asheville and Charles Jordan and his wife, Betty, of Waynesville; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Pisgah View Cemetery in Candler with Reverend Paul Carden officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
