Lloyd "Bubba" Virgil Mangrum, Jr., age 42, of Green Hedge Avenue died on Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Charleston, SC and he was the son of Lloyd V. Mangrum, Sr., and the late Anita Marie Floyd. He was owner and operator of Lake Norman Window Tinting and was loved and admired by the customers, employees, and other business owners in and around the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. Lloyd was a cherished member of Eastfield Christian Church, and was a successful and generous businessman. In addition to his father and stepmother, Lloyd and Sandra Mangrum of Charleston, SC, he is survived by his wife, Tina Elaine Roberts Mangrum of Charlotte; two sons, Sean Anthony and Chase Lane Mangrum both of Charlotte; a daughter, Amber Marie Mangrum of Charlotte ; four brothers, Gene of Indian Land, SC, Troy Nolan of Orlando, FL, Anthony Noel of Blue Springs, MO, and Shawn Christopher Mangrum of Orlanda, FL; a sister, Kimberly Lynn Mangrum of Moncks Corner, SC; grandmother, Lucille Floyd Hilton of Asheville; and many loving nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Canton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A generous soul destined and assured a place in heaven by his Savior, he will be laid to rest at Morning Star Cemetery alongside of his adored and long-departed mother, aunt, and grandfather.
