Lois Anderson

Lois Mease Anderson, age 87, formerly of Trammell Avenue died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Albert C. and Ethel Henson Mease. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Anderson who died in 1985. She was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter Ann Sheehan and her husband, John of Maggie Valley and a son, Mike Anderson and his wife, Rozanne of Medina, OH; two sisters, Martha Gillis of Clyde and Virginia Farmer of Waynesville; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Alice Day officiating. Burial will follow at Long's Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral.
