Lois Johnson

Lois Buckner Johnson, 94, of Candler, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. She was born in Greenville, TN to the late James and Minnie Penland Buckner. Lois was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and had retired from Candler Elementary and Enka High School, having served in their cafeterias.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 10 brothers and 5 sisters.
Lois is survived by her husband of 75 years, Ralph E. Johnson; son, Joe (Sandra) Johnson; grandchildren, Nathan (Donita) Johnson and Kristen (David) Dominguez; great-grandchildren, Kaemon and Kaeddin Dominguez and Kodi and Aaron Collins and great great granddaughter, Ella Grace Tucker.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 24th at Liberty Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Missions Offering, 875 Monte Vista Road, Candler, NC 28715.
