Lois Robinson

"1928 – 2016" Canton – Lois Massie Robinson, age 88, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Americus and Lorene Rhinehart Massie. Lois retired from Dayco International with 40 years of service and then worked at Walmart as a greeter for 14 years. She enjoyed watching her birds and was a member of North Canton Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Chambers and her husband, Lewis, of Waynesville; one son, Rick Robinson and his wife, Diana, of Canton; one brother, Earl Massie of California; two grandchildren, Tara Gibson and her husband, Kevin, and Eric Scarboro, all of Canton; and two great-grandchildren, Montana Moore and Brooklyn Gibson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
