Waynesville-Lola Page Ferguson, age 83, of 14 Bradford Circle, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Brian Center. A native and life long resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Thomas and Jessie May Singleton Page and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Ferguson, Jr., who died in 1991; six brothers, Jim, Joe, Phillip, Wiley, Rex, and Lawrence Page, Jr.; and two sisters, Evelyn Jones and Geraldine Ensley. She was employed at Dayco Corporation for 20 years and was of Baptist faith. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Sue Truitt of Atlanta, and Sandra T. Rider and her husband, Ray, of Lincolnton; one son, Lynn Truitt and his wife, Joy, of Waynesville; three sisters, Shelba Jean Kent and her husband, Glenn, of Canton, Ann George and her husband, Bill, of Waynesville, and Ronnie Harris and her husband, Bill, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Mac Page and his wife, Carolyn, of Clyde; five grandchildren, Tom Truitt and wife, Melissa, of Clyde, John Truitt and wife, Martha, of Biltmore Lake, Paige Rider of Wilmington, Charla Wiggins and husband, Tyler, of Clover, SC, Christy Rhyne and husband, Jamie, of Lincolnton; six great grandchildren, Brandon and Austin Truitt, Katie Truitt, Elizabeth Wiggins, Cassie and Jason Rhyne; and two step grandchildren, Luke and Lyndsey Kinsland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2006 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Stacy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
