Lola Herrin

Lola Duvall Snyder Herrin, age 94, formerly of Max Thompson Road died Thursday, July 28, 2005 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. She was a native of Clay County and the daughter of the late William Bascombe and Texia Morgan Duvall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Herrin and several brothers and sisters. She was employed with Dr. Alton Bottoms as a dental assistant and was a member of Canton First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Vella Williams and Virgie Henson both of Canton; a step-sister, Gertrude Massey of Chattanooga, TN and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road with Mr. F. M. Gray officiating. Memorials may be made to Bon-A-Venture Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 32 Rhoda Street, Canton, NC 28716 or to one's favorite charity.
