Louis Paglia

Louis Clive Paglia, of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, formally of East Setauket, New York, passed away at age 89, on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of New York, he was a son of the late Eupilio E. and Martha Rizzo Paglia.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Marie Pagano, and his second wife, Elaine Paglia, who died in 2020.  Louis proudly served his country in the United Sates Air Force and was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church.  He was an Electronic Technician, working for Hazeltine Corporation for 30 years before retiring to his dream home in Maggie Valley.  A member of Asheville Rifle and Pistol Club, he won many local and out of state matches.  Louis enjoyed shooting and reloading his own ammo.

Louis is survived by a daughter, Regina Stiles, and her husband, Tom, of Connecticut; son Chris Paglia, and his wife, Jeanne, of New York; sister, Isabelle Forzano, and her husband, Joseph, of New York; six, grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the future at the convenience of the family.

The care of Mr. Paglia has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
