Louise Chapman

Louise Stroupe Chapman, age 75, of Georges Branch Road died Monday, May 29, 2006, at her residence. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Elmo Joe and Hattie Mae Cole Stroupe. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Chapman, who died in 1997 and a brother, Harry A. Stroupe. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and the Nannie Muse Sunday School Class. In addition to her husband of 60 years, Bruce C. Chapman, she is survived by a daughter, Margaret Chapman, of Candler; two sisters, Mary Rogers of Bethel and Ruby Taylor of Candler; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Ingle. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
