Waynesville-Louise Trammel Cook, age 65, of Royal Crest Heights, went to be with the Lord, on April 21, 2005. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Zeb Trammell of Yorktown, VA and the late Ruby Caldwell Trammell. She was a loving wife, mother, nannie, and friend and was a member of Barberville Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, James "Dink" Cook; a daughter, Monica Ferguson, and her husband, John Taylor Ferguson, of Waynesville; a sister, Shirley Trammell Rowland, and her husband, Carroll, of Yorktown, VA; two grandchildren; Eli and Sarah Ruby Ferguson; and two nieces, Cara Grant and Tanya Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend G. W. Jamison and Reverend J. D. Grant will officiate. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 on Sunday prior to the service, and at other times, at the home of her daughter, 65 Playground Street in Waynesville. Serving as pallbearers will be Harrison Rathbone, Kyle Cook, Mike Grant, Delane Taylor, Don Sinyard, Earl Rogers, Ronnie West and Charles Cook.
