Louise Dudding

Waynesville NC, Louise S. Dudding, age 88, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Wayne County, West Virginia, she had resided in St. Petersburg, Florida before moving to Haywood County in 2007. She was the daughter of the late William and Grovie Loar Sturgill and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Dudding, who died in 1982, one sister; and seven brothers. She retired as a computer administrator for Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and reading. She is survived by one daughter, Marsha Harmon and her husband, Tom, of Waynesville; two sisters, Florence Mygdal, of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ethel Roberts of Columbus, Georgia; one grandson, Luke Harmon and his wife, Allyson, of E. Petersburg, PA; and two great-grandchildren, Micah and Caeden Harmon. Services and burial will be in Ohio at a later date.
