Louise Hubbard

July 15, 1938 — October 27, 2004

Waynesville-Louise Hubbard, age 66, of 74 Railroad Street, died on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at her residence. A native of Princeton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Launa Hunter Matney. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Redner. She enjoyed crafts and flowers and was of Methodist faith. She is survived by a life-long friend and companion, Barbara Ashe, of Waynesville; three daughters, Linda Guenter and her husband, Steve, of Granite Bay, CA, and Tina and Sharon Hubbard of Waynesville; two sons, Robert and Christopher Hubbard, both of Waynesville and George Ashe, also of Waynesville; and six grandchildren, Shannon and Jason Redner, Joseph Schladant, Ryann Robertson, Justin Ledford, and Maggie Hubbard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend Paul Starnes and Chaplain Carol Hammock officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon and Jason Redner, Justin Ledford, Joseph Schladant, Steve Guenter, and Johnny Campo.
