Louise Ray

Louise Warren Ray, age 85, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at The Homestead. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late, Lush Baxter and Helen Snyder Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Gilmer Ray, who died in 1996; a sister, Patsy Keener; and a brother, Ralph Warren. She was a greeter at Wal-Mart and a member of Canton Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, James Dennis "J. D." Ray of Asheville; nieces and nephews; Marty K. Cherrix of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary K. Tatham of Flat Rock, Rosemary Warren Harrison of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Darlene Warren DeGarmo of Atlanta, Georgia and Samuel Warren of Memphis, Tennessee; and a great niece, Amy Cherrix of Boston, Massachusetts. Private services will be held.
