Louise Trull

Waynesville-Louise Christopher Trull, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 12, 2007. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Buford and Gladys Barker Burchfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Trull who died in 2006. She was a member of New Hope Church of God where she taught Sunday school, was active in womens ministeries and a member of the choir. She retired from Clyde Savings Bank, prior to working at the Department of Social Services. Louise also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Sherri Christopher Green, and her husband, Johnny Andrew Green, Jr. of Lincolnton, NC; one son, Greg Christopher and his wife, Sherri, of Clyde; six grandchildren, Emily, Chad and Abigail Christopher, James, Luke and Logan Green; several cousins including Shirley Grooms and four step-children;Terry Trull and Diane Arrington both of Canton, Dean Trull of Clyde, and David Trull of Bethel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at New Hope Church of God with Dr. Timothy L. Howard and Reverend Melvin R. Shuler officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Hicks, Eugene Christopher, Rick Hooper, DeRoy Shuler, Ray Grooms, Wayne Birchfield, Tom Allen and Jerry Dean Mehaffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Christopher and Earl Johnson. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
