Louise Williams

January 3, 1910 — June 10, 2004

Waynesville-Louise Reid Williams, age 94, of 516 Wall Street, died Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Brian Center. A native of Six Miles, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late W. J. and Harriett Roberts Reid. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Onnie M. Williams; four sisters and seven brothers. She was a former resident of Richmond, Virginia and had lived in Waynesville for 20 years. She was a member of Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Pauline R. Hendricks, of Waynesville and Evelyn Jones of Knoxville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Jay Jones and Reverend Bill Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment and graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon, NC. Memorials may be made to the Ratcliffe Cove Baptist Church, 1175 Ratcliffe Cove Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.
