Lucile Blankenship

Asheville, Lucile Alma Blankenship, age 94, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Accordius Health in Asheville.

A native of Chester County, Pennsylvania, Lucile was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Elise Fasel Dalaba.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Blankenship, who passed in 1997.  Lucile’s favorite pastime was riding the Blue Ridge Parkway’s scenic roads with her husband.

Lucile is survived by her two sons, Jeremiah Blankenship, and wife Sissy, Jesse Blankenship, and wife, Brenda; one daughter, Ruth Barnes; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler with Reverend Ed Couser officiating.
