Lucille Green

Waynesville-Lucille Gibson Green, age 77, of 1337 Pigeon Road, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2005 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Nellie Davis Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Green, who died in 1998; a son, Johnny Mack Green; a daughter, Nellie Sue Green; six brothers; and three sisters. She was an employee of Dayco where she worked in the Textile Department. She loved fishing and was of Baptist faith. She is survived by three sons, Danny Lee Gibson and his wife, Debra, of Canton, Kenneth Gibson and his wife, Fran, of Potlatch, ID, and George Hullender and his wife, Peggy, of Waynesville; a brother Bud Gibson of Waynesville; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Parker Chapel Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 with Reverend Dean Bradford officiating.
