Mack Naillon, Sr.

Spring Creek, Mack McGarvie Naillon, Sr., age 74, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Bruce and Liza Sutton Naillon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Chan and Kenneth Naillon and one brother. Mack loved playing bingo and listening to music with his friends at Madison Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen Naillon; three daughters, Shari Thomas (Scott) of Covington, Georgia, Kathleen Hall (Mike) of Franklin, NC and Mary Lou Cunningham of Waynesville; two sons, Mack Naillon, II and Scott Naillon both of Waynesville; two sisters, Ilone McFalls of Leicester, NC and Gladys Flemming of Marshall, NC; three brothers, Herman Naillon, of Marshall, Chan Naillon of New Jersey and Bruce Naillon, Jr. of Leicester; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.
