Madeline Sullivan

April 17, 1938 — February 22, 2009

Waynesville, Madeline Pearl Sullivan, age 70, died on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native of Berwick, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Goupil and Olive Mae Varney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, George Albert and John Edward; a daughter, Norma Kathleen; and one granddaughter, Linda Elizabeth. She was a proud veteran of the US Navy. Madeline was a devoted member of Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Rondeau of Waynesville, Linda Bernier, of Gilbert, SC, Dawn Sullivan, of Sumter, SC, and Joyce Boston, of Greenville, SC; 13 grandchildren, David, Joseph, Michael, Jamie, Dawn, Catie, R.J., Joshua, Jonathan, Kelsey, Patricia, Cheyenne, and Navaeh "Maggie"; and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2009 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Craver officiating. Memorials may be made to Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 991 Upward Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
