Mae Rogers Penley, 85, of Asheville, passed away, Sunday, September 12, 2010 at her home. A native of Asheville, she was retired from Hot Shot Cafe in Biltmore.
Mae was preceeded in death by her husband, Arnold JC Penley; daughter, Carolyn Grant; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Jack A. Penley, and his wife, Jenny of Asheville; daughters, Brenda Sawyer of Marshall and Margaret Sawyer of the home; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 15th , the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
