Mairl Pressley

Mairl "Chip" Pressley, age 76, of 7 Carolina Mountain Drive, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at her residence. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt "Paw" and Edna "Maw" Trull Pressley. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. She was a former employee of American Enka Corp. and a member of Brown's View United Methodist Church. She is survived by five sons, Gary Miller and his wife, Annette, of Fletcher; Jerry Miller, Ron L. Miller and his wife, Lori, and Ben Miller and his wife, Joleen, and Mike Miller all of Candler; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Wes Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
