Makaila Coffman

Waynesville-Makaila Coffman, 13-month old daughter of Jessika Mintz of Waynesville and Ernest Coffman of Ft. Pierce, Florida died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Zachariah, who died on November 4, 2004. Surviving in addition to her parents is paternal grandmother, Rose Coffman, of Waynesville; maternal grandmother, Lawanda Ramirez, of Sylva and paternal grandfather, Gary Mintz, of Florida; maternal great grandparents, Robert and Darlene Killian, and Dorothy Bacon, all of Waynesville; maternal great-great grandmothers, Lucy Lee of Waynesville and Mattie Killian of Maggie Valley and Lilly Ammons of Waynesville; aunts, Ravonda and Valinda Killian, Sonya Holley; uncle Robbie Mintz; and many other cousins and family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Maggie Valley United Methodist Church Reverend Jeremy Troxler officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery in Maggie Valley. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Swimmer and Collin Edwards. She was our little angel and our ray of sunshine, and she will truly be missed.
