Mandie Holder

Candler- Mandie Walker Holder, age 67, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at John F. Keever Solace Center. She was a native of Newport, TN and a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Clarindie Johnson Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Charlton Holder, who died in 1980. Mandie was employed by Mills Manufacturing as a sewing machine operator for 15 ½ years retiring in July, 2005. She loved crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family. Mandie had a special place in her heart for her grandchild, Ivory. She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Michelle Eatmon and her husband, Shane, of Candler; one son, Robert Holder of Etowah, NC and one grandchild, Ivory Lane Holder. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville with Pastor Chuck Waldrup officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
