Marcia Miller

Tamassee, SC, Marcia Elaine Bennett Miller, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October, 6, 2013 at her residence. A native of Stuart, Florida, she is the daughter of Reverend C.E. Bennett and the late Chloe Beatrice Spivey. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald LeeRoy Miller, who passed away in 2010 and a brother, Eddie Bennett. To describe Marcia in one word, dutiful. Faced with many challenges and hurdles in life, Marcia always persevered. She was a loved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Tina Miller Wright and her husband, Thomas "Marty" of Waynesville; a son, Richard Dean Miller and his wife, Elizabeth Corwell Miller, of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Melba Cook and her husband, Fred, of Alabama and Judy Drake; three sister-in-laws, Jennifer Bennett of Florida, Brenda Sue Patterson and Karen Lynn Jackson both of Anderson, South Carolina; three brothers, Michael Bennett of Florida, Mark Bennett and his wife, Lisa, of Kentucky; and Paul Bennett and his wife, Cecelia of Nevada; one granddaughter, Emma Elaine Wright and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
