Margaret Best

Clyde, Pauline Harrell Best, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eva Seay Harrell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Best, who died in 1993; and brothers, Guy and Claude Harrell.  Pauline was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, feeding people, especially her family, quilting and reading.

Pauline is survived by daughters, Phyllis Jones, and her husband, Ken, of Hiawassee, Georgia and Helen Rogers, of Clyde; sons, Harold Best, and his wife, Donna, and Robbie Best, all of Clyde; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Upper Crabtree Community Cemetery with Reverend James Marsh officiating.
