Margaret Brooks

Leicester - Margaret Ann Clontz Brooks, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Rosa Spain Clontz. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooks, who died in 2015. Margaret enjoyed growing vegetables and canning. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Jean Brooks, of Leicester; two sisters, Louise Clontz and Betty Tabor, both of Conyers, Georgia; and one granddaughter, Anna Marie Shelton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
