Margaret Hall

"Deeply Missed" Canton – Margaret Irene Hall, age 91, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her residence in McDonough, Georgia. A native of Haywood County where she lived most of her life, she was a daughter of the late W.O. and Maggie Whitaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moody Hall, who died in 1989; a son, David Hall; and a brother, Harry Whitaker. Margaret loved going to yard sales with her sisters, playing bingo, shopping outings, and most of all her family. She is survived by two sons, Johnny Hall and his wife, Judy, Bobby Hall and his wife, Barbara, all of McDonough, Georgia; two sisters, Louise Wright of Asheville, and Mary Stephenson of Canton; one brother, David Whitaker of Blairsville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Shawn Tarbush, Tina and Robert Hall, Rodney Moody, Janet Atkins, and Kenny Hall; several great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Cane Creek Cemetery in Fairview.
