Margaret Jackson

Canton - Margaret Cauble Jackson, age 88, formerly of Wilson Cove Road died Saturday, May 01, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Buncombe County and had lived in Haywood County for the past 26 years. She was the daughter of the late Hascoe and Bonnie Wolfe Cauble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend John W. Jackson, who died in 1977, a granddaughter, Jacqueline Lindsey Glover, who died in 1990, a sister and two brothers. She was a homemaker and member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Clara Reese and her husband, Wilberdean, of Spartanburg, SC; a son, Clyde Jackson and his wife, Nancy Best, of Canton; a sister, Juanita Henderson of Fletcher; three grandchildren, Timothy Clyde Jackson, Pamela Jackson Thomason and Teddy Charles Lindsey as well as four great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004 at Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Gene Worley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. prior to the services at Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Canton.
