Margaret Johnson

Canton- Margaret Henson Wright Johnson, age 84 of North Main Street died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Buncombe but had lived most of her life in Haywood County. She was a daughter of the late George Wesley and Mattie Nora Kerley Henson and was the wife of the late Charles R. Wright who died in 1973 and William Roy Johnson who died in 2000. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Charles William and James Richard Henson. Mrs. Johnson retired from Britthaven of Clyde and was a member of Rescue Baptist Church in Canton. She is survived by one daughter Lucy Harkins and her husband James of Canton, one sister Emma D. Laney and her husband Oscar J. of Candler, two brothers Jasper M. Henson and Roy Lee Henson both of Candler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend Darrell Webb officiating. Burial will be at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29th at the funeral home.
