Margaret Morse

Waynesville, Margaret Ann Stephenson Morse, age 84, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Remerton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Brooks Stephenson. Margaret was also preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene Blalock, Betty Dowse and Annie Grace Brantley; one brother Sonny Stephenson. She was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church where she was a volunteer receptionist for several years. She simply enjoyed the outdoors, she was an accomplished gardener, collected arrowheads throughout her property and loved watching the hummingbirds. Margaret was also active with her bridge club and enjoyed antiquing. Margaret is survived by three sons, Greg Morse, and his wife Sherrill of Tucker, Georgia, Steve Morse, and his wife Mary of Sylva, North Carolina, Brian Morse, and his wife Beverly of Ooltewah, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Rion and Lindsey Morse, Chance and Evans Reed, Brad, Lee and Melissa Morse; one great-grandchild, Odin Fitch. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Tyner United Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a reception following the service.
