Margaret Price

October 9, 1926 — April 30, 2005

Waynesville-Margaret Evelyn Price, age 78, formally of 462 Robinson Street, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Brian Center. A native of Gaston County, she was a life long resident of Haywood County and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Robinson Hendricks. She was preceded in death by a son Samuel D. Ledbetter and a brother Glenn Price. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts and was a member of the Foster Grandparents Program and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Hampton, and her husband, Timothy, of Waynesville; a son, Perry Ledbetter, of Waynesville; four sisters, Marie Johnson, Joann Dameron, Rachel and Frankie Price, all of Rhondhiss, NC; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Mike Odom and Reverend Kim Milner officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2005 at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Waynesville, where the body will remain until placed in the church. Memorials may be made to the Foster Grandparent Program c/o Mountain Projects, 2251 Old Balsam Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.
