Margaret Sorrells

Waynesville-Margaret Ellen Morgan Sorrells, age 66, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Palermo, California and was the daughter of the late Lester and Marjorie Huff Morgan. She was the wife of the late James Theodore Sorrells, Jr.; she was also preceded in death by two sisters; and by two sons, Michael Lane Sorrells and Lester Theodore Sorrells.

She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Darlene Sorrells of Waynesville; two sons, Willie Tommy Sorrells and his wife Diane and Johnny Mack Sorrells, all of Waynesville; one sister, Sylva Heil of California; two brothers, Thomas Morgan of Waynesville and Richard Morgan of California; and 8 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at Green Hill Cemetery. Dr. Robert Prince will officiate.

Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
