Margaret Stockton

Canton – Margaret Worley Stockton, 68, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Mission Memorial Campus.

Margaret was a daughter of the late Gudger and Hiawatha Rogers Worley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Worley.  Margaret was a 1971 graduate of Pisgah High School and worked as a lab technician for Park Ridge Hospital for 25 years.  She enjoyed craft making and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, but Margaret’s life was her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Nan Nussman (Scott) and Judith Burnette (Nathan), all of Bethel; two sons, Jeff Stockton (Sandy) of Bethel and Kaleb Stockton (Heather) of Waynesville; one sister, Terry Wyatt of Bethel; and seven grandchildren, Hayden and Landen Stockton, Gabe and Lilly Nussman, Walker and Shay Burnette, and Addelyn Stockton.

At Margaret’s request, no services will be held.
