Margie Stiles

Margie Johnson Stiles, 90, of Asheville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 23, 2015 surrounded by members of her loving family. She was born in Hartford, Tennessee on August 3, 1925. Margie was the beloved wife of James Bruce Stiles who survives her. They would have celebrated their 73rd anniversary, November 7th. She was the daughter of the late Noah Johnson and Lydia Webb Johnson. Margie was also preceded in death by several sisters and a brother. In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her daughter, Carole Stiles Bailey and her husband Ray and JC Stiles of Asheville and her son Ronald David Stiles of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Margie was the precious grandmother of Chad Stiles, Bethany Sensenig, Mariko Walker and Rebekah Bailey, and great-grandmother of Noah and Oden Stiles, Celesta Edge, and Jacob and Jolie Sensenig . Margie had many special nieces and nephews including Retha Swain of Villa Rica, Georgia who was like a daughter. Her prayers often included her family, many friends and her church. She now waits for them to share Heaven's joy with her at the feet of Jesus.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 pm prior to the service at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 at Crossroads Assembly of Asheville with the pastors of the church and family members officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Candler NC. Flower tributes are appreciated or memorial gifts can be made to Crossroads Assembly, Bear Creek Road, Asheville.
