Maria-Rita Robertson

Waynesville, Maria-Rita Katharina Ott Robertson, age 52, of 66 Cherrybrook Lane, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2009. Born August 12, 1956 in Germany, she had lived in Clyde for over 20 years. She was the fourth born of eleven children of Maria and Josaf Ott. Marita loved to cook, do needle work, and spend her days with her many dogs. She was a speaker for the Women's Job Corp and attended East Canton Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at East Canton Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Brooks and Dr. Jack Sammons officiating. In celebration of Marita's life, a dinner will be served in her honor immediately following the service. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her family in Germany. In lieu of flowers, donations to HAWA would be appreciated at P.O. Box 992, Waynesville, NC 28786.
