Marian Parr

Waynesville, NC, Marian Francis Parr, age 86, of Gordon Drive, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2013. A native of Sullivan, Illinois, she was the daughter of Clarence and Helen Roberts. She is also preceded in death by a son, Michael Parr; three sisters; and four brothers. Marian was a member of Providence Church. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, C. Wayne Parr; daughter, Deborah Denman, of Dade City, Florida; son, Gregory Parr and his wife, Jackie, of Roy, Utah; sister, Rhesa Cook, of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Terry Roberts and his wife, Loretta, of Troy, Michigan, Jim Roberts of Wildwood, Florida, and Tim Roberts and his wife, Jackie, of Burnet, Texas; four grandchildren, Michael Parr, Chadwick Denman, Shelby Denman, and Bradley Parr; and two great granddaughters on the way. Services and burial will be in Brandon, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of local arrangements.
