McDonough, Georgia, Marjorie Elizabeth Shultz Frady, age 96, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at The Gardenias Assisted Living in Hampton, Georgia.
A native of Jackson County, NC who lived in Waynesville, NC for years, Marjorie was part of a big family and a daughter of Isaac Shultz and Ellen Davis Shultz. She was also preceded in death by her dear husband of 64 years, Everette Frady who died in 2011; their son, David Frady; three sisters, Geneva Bradley, Ruth Green, and Mary Ellen Proctor; and brother, Billy Ray Shultz.
Employed with American Enka for 27 years as a machine operator, Marjorie was known as a hard worker who liked being part of a production team. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and making memories with her family. She loved Waynesville and the mountains. Marjorie was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Phyllis Ann Frady Rogers, and her husband, Tony, of McDonough, GA; brother, Charles Shultz; grandsons, Kevin Rogers and Donnie Rogers (Allison); and six great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Aidan, Ocean, Lochlin, Knox, and Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 13075 Hwy 36, Covington, Georgia. Marjorie will be interred next to her husband at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Waynesville, NC.
