Marshall Brown

Marshall Bonnell Brown, 74, of Asheville passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010. He was born in Woodfin, NC to the late Weldon and Mildred McFee Brown. Marshall served his country in the Air Force and was retired from the VA Medical Center. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed camping and was a Baptist.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lane Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Aronia Brown; daughters, Linda (Willie) Tipton of Weaverville and Kathy (Greg) Peek of Waynesville; sons, Jerry (Susan) McKinney of Charlotte and Lane Brown of Waynesville; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 11 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler with the Revs. Charlie Sams and Fred Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the service at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marshall's memory may be made to John F. Keever Solace Center, PO Box 5779, Asheville, NC 28813.
