MARTIN B. MCCLURE

Waynesville-Martin Burdette McClure, age 72, of Halcyon Hills Drive died Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at his residence.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late John M. and Burr White McClure. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Lattimore McClure, who died in 1999. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a son, Martin Parris McClure of Asheville.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Don Letzring officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service the family will also receive friends at the home of Martin and Connie McClure, 625 Sonoma Road, Apt. 2, Waynesville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Haywood County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 932, Waynesville, NC 28786
