Marvin Keith

Marvin H. Keith, age 71, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was the son of the late John Washington and Eva Young Keith and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hattie Stamey Keith, who died in 1999. He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Keith and a son-in-law, John Connolly. He is survived by a daughter, Martha Jean Bourke, of Houston, TX; two sons, Terry Keith and his wife, Barbara, and Ed Bourke and his wife, Waynette, all of Canton; five grandchildren, Daniel Bourke, Mary Etta Bourke, both of Canton, B.J. Keith, of Mills River, Matthew Keith and his wife, Katie, of Asheville and Misty Plemmons and her husband, Nick, of Canton, and two great-granddaughters, Kristen Queen and Morgan Plemmons. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Canton with the Reverend Jack Scott and Reverend Jimmy Trantham officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
