Mary Bachmann

Maggie Valley-Mary Ellen Bachman, age 50, of 203 Panoramic Loop, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at her residence. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, she resided in Asheville five years before moving to Haywood County in 2005. She received her Masters Degree from the University of South Florida and was employed as a financial advisor for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. She is survived by her parents, Laura and Walt Cranor of St. Louis, Missouri; her husband of 20 years, Bob Riley; one brother, Don Bachmann and his wife, Sue, of St. Louis, Missouri; and a nephew, Jonathan Bachmann. Graveside funeral service for Mary Ellen will be held Monday, October 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Hwy. Asheville, NC with Reverend Sara Ilderton officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to Haywood Regional Medical Center Ambulatory Infusion Department, 262 Leroy George Drive Clyde, NC 28721
