Mary Finney

Waynesville, Mary Gennelle Finney, age 87, died on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Bert Finney and Nora Chapman Finney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, J.W. "Buck" Finney, Sr. She was an employee of Welco and retired after 35 years service. Mary was a member of Rocky Branch Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by one son, Terry Rogers, and his wife, Debi, of Waynesville. At her request, no services will be held. Memorials may be made to Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P.O.
