Mary Haney

December 20, 1925 — August 20, 2011

Clyde, Mary Frances "Polly" Frady Haney, age 85, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at MedWest-Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Liner and Mary Forga Frady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Haney, who died in 1992; three sisters, Betty Lou Frady, Myrtle Faye Siske, and Willie Mae Palmer; two brothers, Logan and Everette Frady; and one great grandson. Polly loved spending time sitting on the porch and shopping with her granddaughter, Kelly, and attended New Covenant Church. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Doug Haney, Judy Rickman and her husband, Ronnie, and Debbie Jordan and her husband, John, all of Waynesville; one brother, J. L. Frady, of Waynesville; six grandchildren, Kelly Rickman Bristle and husband, T.J., and David Rickman and wife, Robin, all of Clyde, Stacey Trull of Waynesville, Brian Haney, of Weaverville, Angie Haney and Melody Kahn; one step grandson, Ryan Bristle; and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Barbara Jean Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to services at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
