Mary Holder

Waynesville, Mary Elizabeth Ross Holder, age 82, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Hilliard Way and Sarah Lillie Ferguson Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Scott Wood and one brother, Charles W. Ross. She is survived by four daughters, Bobbie Hoxit, of Kuwait City, Kuwait, Sandra Parker, and Marie Wood both of Waynesville and Frances Keane, of Wellington, FL; one brother, Julius Paul Ross, and his wife, Barbara, of Waynesville and three grandchildren, George Thelton Parker III, Nicole' Collins Keane and Michael Ross Keane. A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Reverend Paul Starnes, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
